Humble Beginnings...
Minister Alston was raised in Carrboro, North Carolina where she attended Terrell’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church as a child. At the age of nine, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. At the age of twelve, she was aware of the call to ministry on her life.

Having grown up in a Foster Home, Minister Alston has a soft spot for Foster Children. Her experience in Foster Care taught her to embrace family.  As such, she is passionate about encouraging children and teens to appreciate their family. "An absent mom, does not a victim make!" This is the message Minister Alston strives to relay to individuals.

A Gifted Writer...
Minister Alston is a gifted writer with three published books to her credit as well as a songwriter’s demo to her credit. "I will never forget the day I realized writing was indeed one of my spiritual gifts", is what Minister Alston says in reference to her gift of writing. Embracing this wonderful gift, Minister Alston readily admits that she did not always consider it a gift. "I simply passed it off as my way of releasing pain."

A Talented Songwriter...
As the founder of IMAGE Praise and Worship Choir, Minister Alston writes all of the music for the group. Using the gift of writing that God has graciously instilled in her, Minister Alston has written numerous plays, monologues, and Curriculums for Christian Education. She is the host of her twqo internet radio station; Church Insider Talk Radio and Write Turns Allowed Talk Radio.

Cherished Assets...
Minister Alston is a powerful and anointed Preacher. She is also a gifted writer and lyricist who brings a fresh approach to every venue she is blessed to participate in. However, when asked what she cherishes most, it becomes clear that these things are not the focus of Minister Alston’s life.

Minister Alston is the loving mother of two Daughters who she lovingly refers to as "The Pride in my smile and the Grey in my hair". Though she loves her family, still they are not Minister Alston's most cherished asset.  We find out what is as she echoes the words of the late Rev. James Moore, “My relationship with Christ means all the world to me!”
